Week Wrap Up Thoughts - FWIW
Hi All,
It's certainly been a bit of a rollercoaster this past week or so - Proxy Vote, Delay to Q3 and Q3 reporting!
To the good - Q3 was mostly very positive and sets a reasonable expectation that DOC will build from here through Q4 into 2024.
To the bad or at least concern - the Proxy Vote which has the Share Consolidation at item 6 up for your vote of FOR or AGAINST must be done by December 12th with results reported on 15th.
I have been in contact with DOC MGMT for a long time now and my thoughts are my own as it pertains to the comments I make here. I've built a reasonable repour with Karen who has always been straight with me. As you will expect, she never crosses the line, nor have I ever asked that she would but, she has graciously given me her time. The Share Consolidation action up for the vote has angered me and I have expressed my opinion with Karen, her CFO and with you al here. I feel very strongly that if DOC MGMT demonstrates what they have been saying, deliver results over a few Q Reports plus a few great PRs on Deals etc, this SP will garner attention and slowly move up.....up to a point in a reasonable amount of time to provide an ability all by itself to allow MGMT to move DOC off Venture and onto the main TSX exchange. Once it gets off Venture, Institutions will then BUY and I suspect things will stabilize SP-wise.
So, here is the conundrum. It would appear that MGMT need the ability to raise financing but in order to do this, the Market Cap of DOC needs to be in a favorable and stable state in order to get access and best terms.
My hunch is, either WE as shareholders STOP DUMPING STOCKS and encourage everyone to get behind this stock and get it up up up or we will leave MGMT in an impossible position of needing to consolidate shares. Of course, MGMT have to do their bit right. They have to do their job, deliver great results and market the heck out of everything positive they win and have going on.
I'm not suggesting a pump. Just that we face a reality here. I am not for Share Consolidation as I feel that if that happens, it will likely lead to things that won't bring any value.... quite the opposite....and why risk it if we have a small chance to try an alternative route?
