Help; New A7iii lags alot at start up and menu navigation

I just got a new A7iii and for some reason its super slow when i turn it on at startup and the menu navigation isn’t smooth or quick either. I read that I need to first put a UHS-II in slot 1, format it then reset the camera. I was using my UHS-I the whole time. i decided to order the II on Amazon but I haven’t received it yet. From anyone’s experience with this particular camera, does this method actually work? Any specific reason for the lagging? Thanks.

TLDR; New A7iii very slow/laggy at startup and navigation. Does using UHS-II in slot one fix this issue after formatting it etc? Any other tips?
