Damiensaber Baselit or not?

Hi all, I'm shopping for a first saber for my son (9) and myself to do some light sparring with, for Christmas. I read the buying guide and did extensive searching on the sub, and I'm fairly certain that I want:

• Very basic hilts (one black, one silver)
• 28" blade for my son, 32" for me
• neopixel blade <-- the gradual ignition effect is most important to him
• under $150 each

As far as I can tell from looking many options (aliexpress, amazon, vire, crimsondawn, darkwolf, imperial workshop, cc sabers, etc.) the choices on Damiensaber.com are the closest match, since I can't find a way to choose blade length on Ali (LGT store), and all of the local resellers bump the price up above $200 for the combo I'm looking for.

However, I'm concerned about the Damiensaber.com product listings - many of them say "Baselit RGB" in the description and then have a "Xenopixel 3" option. Aren't those in conflict? Am I going to end up with a Xeno3 board and an installed Baselit blade without the ignition effect?
