Seeking Advice: Transitioning to Tech from Commerce in 12th Grade
Firstly, I apologize for posting this here. I am not a developer, but I have been interested in this field since 10th grade. I am currently in 12th grade studying commerce under CBSE.
Initially, I chose PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in 11th grade. However, due to family problems and time management issues, I switched to commerce after studying PCM for six months. When I mention family problems, I mean they were real and challenging, not solely monetary but involving conflicts and other personal matters. I apologize if it's hard to explain.
Although I was excited about becoming a developer, I pursued commerce. After conducting some research, I discovered that BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) is also a course that leads to a career in development.
I am curious if there are other courses besides BCA that could lead to a similar career path. Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest a roadmap for me. For instance, should I focus on studying for boards, fill out forms, or prepare for entrance exams? If BCA is indeed the recommended path, I'm interested in knowing about colleges. I live in Lucknow, and while my parents can afford for me to study in another state, my mother is emotionally attached, and I don't want to disrespect her feelings.
It's December now, and my father is urging me to figure out what I want to do. I hope many people see this as I really need help.
Once again, I apologize for posting this here. I'm not a developer, and I'm genuinely sorry.
