Can you get into legal trouble for not paying back someone because of their view on certain races?

Hi, I'm just curious of can you get into legal trouble for not paying back someone because of what they said of certain races. (Using £25 as an example) I don't want to pay them the amount because of what they said of certain races and saying people of African descent and of Indian/Pakistani descent and saying they are shady people.
