Power Apps VS Monday.com

I and a coworker have gotten pretty far with Power Apps. We have developed several environments,data sources and many apps (with more functionality to come). We are feeling good about the platform and are very comfortable with it.

Recently there have been some rumblings in our business about Monday.com as a 'catch-all' solution which would include replacing Power Apps. I am very reticent about this because we are making real headway with Power Apps. However, if it's the right choice, I will support it.

Frankly, I don't know much about Monday.com. I have done some research and it looks pretty much like a glorified planner with a little bit of automation; nothing like the unlimited potential you can harness with Power Apps. Is anyone familiar with what Monday is good for? I saw that there are apps for this as well, but I am unclear on what they can accomplish. Any help or experience would be appreciated!
