Are supports meant to pocket heal?

I’m new at OW2 and mostly main support. Often people will comment “support diff” or “heal more”, when I’ve never gotten less than 10K in heals. I’m evidently healing but DPS seems to go on their own mission and try to 1v5 and then scream for heals.

Also, are we not SUPPORT and not just heals? Most of the time we’re fighting for our lives and team members don’t always protect or help support but expect to be pocketed the entire game.

I don’t know - it’s incredibly frustrating.
