anyone here has ever eaten something turned sour accidentally and was ok?

i accidentally ate 5-10 harvest snap pea snacks that smelled soooo sour, turns out my gf had put it in her lumch box for weeks and water got into it? i had no idea. after a few ones (taste was ok pretty much a teeny bit off but like not alarming) i had a wif from the bag and it smelled super sour. the inner bag was wet but the snap peas weren't that wet still crunchy actually. i have emetophobia and am currently terrified and am seeking some reassurance
