Can't play digital PS5 games

I've spent hours googling and trying to figure it out, but I'm at a loss. I've been playing Spider-Man 2, on disc, perfectly fine, but whenever I've tried to play MW3 or DMC5SE - both digital - and it just crashes shortly after hitting the title screen. Every time. For some reason, after I realised this was a big issue, my download speed seems to be tanking? As I type this, it's telling me that Smite will take 99+hrs to complete, meanwhile I just ran a network test to find that even the PS itself says I'm sitting at 148.6Mbps download speed.

My console is brand new as of yesterday; it doesn't seem to overheat when a crash happens; I've tried clearing the cache, rebuilding the database, and have even reset the console to factory setting to no avail.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, I'm totally lost here and will at this rate just be sending it back.
