Maybe premature but...baby startup funds? $$

I probably won't buy anything until the new year, but do any more experiences mammas or moms-to-be have a general sense of a baby startup budget? Car seat, stroller, crib, ... I know there must be a ton more, but I'm very new to this! Hoping to capitalize on the second hand market a lot when possible (obviously not car seat).
