Seeking Advice for ASP.NET Core Integration Project

Hello!

I've been tasked with integrating two applications, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I could use some guidance.

Both applications have APIs, and my main goal is to pull data from app A to app B when specific actions occur. Unfortunately, there are no webhooks available, so it seems like I'll need to implement some form of polling. While I don't have much experience with ASP.NET Core, I'm planning to use it for this project.

Additionally, I'll be the sole developer working on this integration. Initially, it will serve as an internal tool, with plans to evolve into a product later on. Any advice on how to approach building this solo project would be greatly appreciated!
