Any advice how to become emotionally available?

I’m realizing just how emotionally unavailable I am. I date new people all the time and constantly find something wrong with them and I push them away. Then when an emotionally unavailable man comes along, I fall hard for them. I am going to therapy but I want tips on what I can do on my own to get past this. I really don’t want to be alone forever
