Theory on Unsuur's past

This is probably a silly one, but the thought's been in my head for a bit. I've seen mentions that Unsuur will hint that a lot of who he is, including his name, are things he's learned/chosen/decided since coming to Sandrock. He's in some ways careful not to stand out, to be just weird enough to keep people from approaching, but not so weird as to be obvious. He also mentions in the dinner party that he was 'trying to get to Atara' and that it looked 'only a fingers length away on the map.' On the My Time at world map Duvos is roughly a fingers length from Atara. I'm wondering if Unsuur isn't an actual runaway from Duvos, though I'll admit I'm on PS5 so I'm probably missing chunks of his content that'd disprove my theory.

Anyone got any thoughts either way?
