Uncomfortable not being his typical type F23 M24

I’m a brown skin latina with long, curly, black hair, grew up In a predominantly white city and recently reconnected with an old friend from the same city. He’s only ever been with blonde white girls and white latinas that look nothing like me. Im pretty confident and know I’m beautiful BUT it does feel uncomfortable knowing he wants me and chases me yet I’m the first darker girl he’s ever been with. Any advice on how to navigate that uncomfortable feeling? Has anyone else out there felt like this before?
