Orin Scrivello character advice

Is there anything that I should know going in to an audition for Orin in LSOH? Im doing “Dentist!” as my song (As per the recommendation of one of the members in charge of the production). I know I can sing, as I’ve gotten bigger roles in productions of other shows before. I’m just having trouble getting an idea of how I should present him in terms of character to get the role. Any sort of general advice helps! I still have a little while to prepare, I just figure I should start now and get a jump on it so I have it ready!
