Volunteer opportunities over the holidays in BK?

I’m looking to spend the holidays giving back to my Brooklyn community and would like to volunteer at places like soup kitchens, shelters, clothing drives, cooking for mutual aid projects, community gardens. For some reason it’s weirdly difficult to find available opportunities online but I knowwww there have got to be more things going on than I am finding. And I really want to give my time and connect. I don’t drive so please don’t recommend anything that requires that ;( Thanks!

EDIT: open to manhattan as well! :o) and anything queer related but that is not at all a requirement
