Where to begin?

A few months back my partner told me she’s been into this since she was younger and some people find it weird, not sure why? Seems really interesting tbh. My main question is how do I as her girlfriend like DO it for her? With the other things theatre physical, obviously I can let her do them. This, however, I’m not quite sure? Like would I just be telling her what to do? Like instructions?
