How to publish a thesis

Hello, I wrote my thesis in Eng Lit in a very specific topic but I don't know how to get published or what journals I should be looking at (cannot afford and do not want to pay to get it published). Just wanted help in understanding the process because I'm an extreme newbie. I just want it to be a reputable journal whose name will help me,, can someone please help?
