Can I still file on my own if I already sent a VSO a signed 21-22

I had just sent a VSO a signed 21-22 and ALL of my military records. I’m still active duty and I’m trying to file a BDD claim.

However after doing more research here I see a lot of people saying VSO’s slowed them down and it’s better to just file it yourself.

I don’t mind doing that but with the VSO having the signed 21-22 now, can I still submit my BDD claim? Will it interfere with anything?
