Can I give my honest opinion when posting about gifted PR?

I'm a new microinfluencer, and a brand recently sent me some skincare products in return for a post (not paid). They didn't specify that I had to only say positive things about it.

I just posted a video saying mostly positive things except for one tiny thing I didn't love about it (just how my skin reacted to it) - but now in hindsight i'm wondering - was that bad? I wanted to be honest in my review and I saw another influencer say something similar about the brand (assuming her products were also gifted since she has way more followers than me).

Thoughts? Do other influencers do the same?
