Kids complaining in school about having to work w a kid they don’t like

Don’t you hate when kids complain about having to sit or work with a kid they don’t like. Like it happened to me one time during school and it really hurt my feelings, I felt like a worthless piece of shit. I remember one time in seventh grade a kid had to work with me and the whole class started to laugh at him bc he had to work with me ! I felt like garbage. Or getting told “no one likes you”. It really hurts
