Have ducted , is it worth keeping split system

Iv got a ducted through the house and a split system in the theatre and master. Is it worth keeping the splits ? The ducted now goes to all the rooms and the splits are just an eye sore on the wall. Would it be more economical to run them when only In that room ? Or run the ducted into that room only ( can set the zones ) Bought an existing house and the previous owner started with the splits and added ducted a few years later
