One Button Press Print Screen?

New computer running Windows 10.

When I press PRT SCR, nothing happens. I get nothing on my clipboard.
When I hold CTRL and press PRT SCR it will copy an image of my monitors onto the clipboard, which is what pressing PRT SCR used to do on Windows 7. Is this normal?

I would like to simply press the single key PRT SCR to copy an image of my monitors to clipboard. I really dislike having to press two buttons, especially two buttons on opposite sides of the keyboard.
