Joining the LAPD

Hey looking to join the Los Angeles police force I have a warrant in the state of Texas for failure to appear that started out as a ticket for driving with no license is this something that will stop me or disqualify me from being a police officer in the state of California? And if so if I pay and clear the warrant would that still be a disqualifying factor?
