Why are all my relations with other people a love-hate thing?
Male, 20.
This is something I've been trying to figure out for a couple of months now. I'm currently lonely, and have been for about nine months. This means no friends, partners or adquaintances.
Two or maybe three months ago, I realized everyone that's ever loved or liked me has hated me at some point. My ex definitely hated and loved me with equal intensity throughout our whole relationship, each of my now ex-friends had hated me for a considerably prolonged amount of time, more than two times, we stopped talking nine months ago because of a stupid download. I bet it was going to take way less time than they thought. I was right. It started what I thought it was a small and inoffensive discussion, until one got angry and left. The other friend left after the first one did and... well, it's been nine months and I haven't talked to them. I don't think they were overeating: I think it was the last drop. I just don't know what filled the glass to begin with; adquaintances and semi- strangers have always found me obnoxious, cringe and disagreeable... And they're right. I used to be like that... Or maybe I still am. That's the problem. I changed a lot. I'm not that impulsive, socially blind, obnoxious teenager I used to be, yet, I still get the same results: Everyone that gets to know me likes and dislikes me.
My question is: Does this happen to you? WHY? Why do you think this is my case?
