Help

I am a 17M who started a new retail job 3 weeks ago. On my 3rd shift I met a new coworker (17M) who started same time as me. He came up to me and asked if I went to a certain bus number to which I replied yes. I then recognized him as the boy from my bus. Ive known him for a year but never thought anything about him other than I liked his clothes.

Ever since then we have been talking to each other non stop at work and Ive grown to like him. He's genuinely cute and I love his personality. My issue is that I don't know if he likes dudes or not. He always starts the conversations but we don't talk in the bus probably because we are both very quiet people.

Everytime I see him in the halls he is alone and quiet with his headphones. I want to get his socials and get to know him more but don't know how to. I'm very socially awkward and have horrible sociall anxiety. My friends say I shouldn't be scared because I am a "conventionally attractive" person who is tall, has good skin and hair and fit. But I can't help how terrified I am. I work with him next in 2 days. Help please I haven't had a crush in over 2 year so its all so new for me.
