Odette Burst

Question: I'm using an Odette trial card to see if I want to buy the hero. Problem is, I tap on her burst, but it's like 1 second long. I checked to see if this was the case, but the in-game tutorials have at least 6-10 seconds long of burst.

I'm not pressing anything else, not her moves, not even the direction controls, nothing. My build is the first pro player one they recommend (not the influencer). I'm so confused, what's going on?
