I'm asking they'll tease each manufacture a day like they did last time?
Probably not. The DLC is a month away at least.
Yeah true. Like once a week
Meh, nobody will play after 2 weeks..
Yep like GT4 š
Come to https://www.simracingalliance.com/ Friday nights we have Multiclass Mayhem with a field of gt3, gt4, P-cup, lambo super Trofeo (and the occasional Ferrari Challenge) along with season M2 league in a week content.
The m2 cup is the most popular series in the leagues I run in. People love the bumper to bumper racing!
Man, people really don't like having more cars to drive, huh?
Seems so lol. Wonder how they will feel when AC2 is the main title as, if it is anything like AC1 content wise it will have so many cars and classes no drives.
What's the point? Very unpopular series, even Gt4 which is a relatively popular series, no one races it in ACC.
I think it is due at least in part to Stephane Ratel. But also because those cars will be loads of fun to drive.
Speak for yourself, pal.
I regularly hop into the KTM X-Bow, AKA āGodās Chariotā and always finish P1 in mixed class races.
Thereās no other GT4s in said race⦠but donāt you dare claim that no one races GT4s. Thereās at least one of us.
Not with the current meta surely, if you're racing at a competitive level you have to use the Alpine as the BoP is so bad.
Okay, but what else would you do then? You'd rather have no new content?
Some 2-3 new tracks would be better tbh.
But I don't think there is much overlap in producing those.
Mustang gt3, Corvette gt3. Fix the bullshit bugs like the wet pressures?
The 2024 pack with Nordschleife was already announced, so new GT3s are very likely coming. I'm sure they are also working on physics improvements, but you don't just "fix" stuff like that in a day.
I'm only questioning why the Porsche 935 is being added. I have no issue with it, but it came out left field for myself
The 935 was one of the original SRO GT2 cars. It's still technically legal to race in the series, just so rare and expensive it's more financially sensible to just race the GT2 RS Clubsport instead.
Makes sense. Thanks for the info
Is this dlc gonna come with the Nordschleife?
Nords isn't coming until at least April I believe, so no.
Im not familiar with Gt2's are they better than Gt3 and is it worth picking up on release?
Define"better". They're mlt faster over a lap if that's what you're asking.
More power, less aero than GT3. Should drive like a GT4 on steroids. Slots in between GT3 and GT4 laptime wise. If you like driving the 488 Challenge car then it's definitely worth picking up this DLC.
GT2 is very close to the Lambo ST2. That car is basically a GT2 already.
Yes, the Lambo ST2 is pretty close to a GT2 car. In fact there was one on the grid in Monza in one of the first GT2 races. However it was forced to run a higher ride height in order to generate less downforce, otherwise it would have been a bit faster than the regular GT2 cars at that time. So a GT2 car should be like a Lambo ST2 but with a tad bit less downforce and a bit more power. The 488 Challenge ran directly in the GT2 class, without any bop applied to it as far as I know.
Are those the only 2 cars in the update?
Doubt it, the post says "as part" of the pack. I'm sure we'll see more reveals soon
Would love more cars, I just donāt know the GT2 class very well. What could be the other cars?
Audi R8, Brahbam BT63, Mercedes-AMG, Lambo (very similar to the Super Trofeo), KTM X-Bow.
There might be others but those are the ones I know of.
It's a great roster, no doubt.
Single manufacturer Porsche GT2 nord races yes please.
Prerequisite for NLS multiclass. Nice.
I'm looking forward to the GT2s less aero and more mechanical grip sounds great, as I don't really like the GT3 and prefer the GT4s. Hope to see a series at LFM.
The comments in that post, sheesh. People complaining about the cost essentially. Simracers are a thankless bunch. Kunos dlc's are an immediate download for me and seem very reasonably priced for the quality imo.
Can't wait to drive these.
Couldn't agree more. Always quality releases.
Gamers in general are a thankless bunch. I see tons of posts across a few game communities that all complain regardless of new things coming out
