I am a bit late to the party this season, so i started today and noticed that I needed 5 wins to get to Rank 2.
Did they increase the amount of wins you need to rank up? Because that would be VERY annoying.
Last season you needed 5 wins the first time to get from rank 12 to 13!

The annoying part is actually when you have a partially completed set at the start of the season, because you need two sets to complete the 5 battles requirement, but the extra battles played don’t carry over as progress in rank 2!
I think there's scientific evidence only psychopaths leave a set partially finished.
You don't need 5 wins to get from rank 1 to rank 2. It's just 5 battles. You can lose all 5 of them and still rank up.
