Manipulation and Neglect

I was raised a Hafiz, and was fortunate to not have direct confrontation with the rougher sides of religion. What sorta of did me in and got me resentful, was the gaslighting. The consistent Gaslighting. I was neglected and abused as a kid and every time the answer was “ respect your elders” I’m ur mother. My other parent was not abusive but was a silent watcher and his general attitude was “it’s ur fate”. Well fuck ur god and his fate. Life is for living I will write a better story.
