I hate being called lazy. I literally can't help it.
I'm 19, and all my life I've always been called lazy. I have always had issues sleeping, I have always had medical issues, and I have always had mental health issues.
I currently fully wake up atleast 3 times a night to go pee because I have an overactive bladder. I also have alot of trouble falling asleep, it usually takes like an hour to actually fall asleep. I have tinnitus so its really loud and annoying when im trying to sleep. There's also the thyroid issue that I can't get a doctor for because my insurance sucks and all the doctors that take my insurance are booked out until atleast July 2024. I also have autism, and very bad anxiety and depression that make interacting with others very tiring.
I know that I am being lazy. But I am exhausted. I know that I dont do as much as other people, and I know that I try to avoid certain things more than others, but I am truly trying my best. Sometimes I get so tired that I feel like breaking down, I want to do things, but I cant. I have to scedual my days so that I can conserve as much every as possible. If I work an evening shift I literally can't do anything before hand or I might not be able to make it through my shift. If I have a doctor's appointment then I can't do anything else that day. Just lifting something slightly heavy feels like it uses up alot of energy and I will usually rest afterwards.
I just want to be a normal teenager but I can't. I keep loosing friends because they always say that I don't put enough energy into our friendship. The people around me will get angry at me if I need to rest between doing things like chores. When I tell people I'm tired and need a break they always say I'm too young to be tired and that I'm just being lazy. But sometimes its genuinely unbearable.
