Lease has 30k more miles than shown

I have a leased vehicle from 2021. I leased the vehicle and it had 36k miles on it, today my check engine light came on. We went to AutoZone and had a diagnostics run. I noticed the odometer reading from the diagnostic tool said 80,000 miles however my car dashboard only says I have 50,000 miles. The guy at AutoZone said that the dealership probably ran the mileage back before they sold me the car. I have a print out from them showing what the cars actual mileage is. I’m in CA and my lease is up in 5 months.
