How do I change popup border color?

I was extending a theme to customize it, and noticed one difference about the popup border color. most if not all helix themes has white border color for the popup (buffer picker, file picker etc). But mine is different.

Is there a way to restore or customize the popup border color?

white border from material_darker theme, the theme I'm extending

My border color is no longer white.
