How did you make it work with your partner / spouse who has a different religion?

I'm 27M atheist, in a relationship with a 26F muslim. Neither of us are willing to budge in any direction on these things. We've been together for over a year now.

I realise this might be quite niche, but curious who's out there who may be in a serious relationship or married to someone who has a differing religious belief. How did you make it work?
