MacBook Pro - Palmrest + Hinge Skin

Hi, I got the MacBook Pro M3, and I got the deluxe which includes the bottom + palm rest + hinge skin. I have two questions:

1. I know that the Macbook, when closed, will have a magnetic seal of some sort making the computer difficult to open without needing to. The Dbrand skin for the trackpad and the hinge are extremely thin, but the magnetic clamp is gone. My question is that if the Mac does not have the magnetic clamp due to the trackpad, will the Macbook hinge deteriorate faster in the long run?
2. If I were to remove the skin, would removing the hinge skin put less stress on the hinge or removing the trackpad skin?
