Today I learned that starting the daily/returning to the ship reset your run :(

Had a god run setup but remembered I hadn't done the daily yet. Was about to go into Abyss (on Act 2) and decided I'd clear that out before I forgot. Had a horrible run (seriously one hit kill modifier???) and was gery sad when I left the ship only to see her gear reset. Not sure if just entering the ship did it or if it was starting the daily. Either way that's incredibly stupid.

Oh well, back into the Overgrowth I go...

you can go in and out of the ship as much as you want. Anytime you load a new “level” by doing the daily, entering multiplayer, going into the tower, etc. you will reset your current run and lose all progress. FYI sleeping in your bunk on the ship will restore some integrity. Not a lot and you can’t do it over and over again but it’s something.

They also teach you to deal with adversity and learn how to use various synergies in the game. If you do enough daily challenges, you may stop fearing malfunctions. I'm not talking about you in particular, but people in general. It's about adapting your playing style and being able to deal with different perks combined with disadvantages. Plus you get five ether, although that's all not all that worth it considering how easy ether is to get once you get to act 2, however on act one it can be a real bonus.

Good points. It helped me go out of my comfort zone by forcing me to try different weapons too.
