Prices quotes for 2024

Hey guys, I just got quoted for a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road, 5 foot bed, 4wd, non hybrid engine, with no add ons. 53,000.0 out of the door. Anyone have similar estimates!?

Absolutely nuts lol.

You can get a new SR5 Tundra with the trd package for almost the same.

What is toyota thinking.

Makoamagana•

Basically what my wife and I have been saying. Except here they want 63k for an off road 4x4 with the premium package lol

GTBoosted•

Damn I was looking at a 23 Tundra Platinum for 64k last month.

4x4, heated and cooled seats front and back, pano roof, roll down rear window, 360 cams, digital rear view, plus more.

5
Makoamagana•

Exactly. 63k for a Tacoma is stupid. California man. It’s brutal buying tacos here.

GTBoosted•

Go to Longo, they have no mark ups. But probably long wait time

2
tm0neyz•

I paid almost exactly half that for my fully loaded TRD-OR 4x4 in 2019... Wow.

2
kleptican•

Exactly why I’m getting a tundra (eventually)

3
GTBoosted•

Me too.

Waiting on the bugs to get worked out. Hopefully a little face-lift too

2
Buddhahead11b•

Saw a 21 tundra 4x4 with 30k miles for 32k. Clean title one owner. Fuck these new prices.

That payment will be a few hundred off a 140k mortgage for a condo in Ohio. I’ll stick to my 00 Lexus gs 300 and keep buying property.

2
chowshep•

Isn’t that always the case though? Normally buying property will almost always be a better investment than buying any vehicle of any type.

Bigmacattack141•

They wanted to minimize mark ups, so they decided to pocket the money themselves.

See Jeep.

Ridiculous for any mid-size truck.

Xidium426•

I really want to see one next to a Tundra. I think this is going to be very much like the Current Gen Canyon, looks like a 95% model of the full size.

kyle007US•

That is not MSRP, find a diff dealer. Use the website builder. There should not be any market adjustments.

9
DntCllMeWht•

This. Fuck market adjustments and fuck dealers who try that shit.

HighInChurchSilver Sky•

That could be pretty close to msrp out the door. If he got the auto tranny, color etc it’s 44,500. Plus a conservative 8% sales tax is 48k, plus delivery 1500-1800, fees etc it’s pretty close.

erik21a•

he said no add ons, but could mean accessories or dealer fluff, etc.. premium or upgrade packages could easily get you there with auto transmission

Formal-Cut-4923•

I submitted my order last week same thing you are looking at but added integrated dash cam and it was $43,700

6
PhilosophySilver6852OP•

And this was out the door pricing?

2
Formal-Cut-4923•

I went in and put $500 down in may and the sales manager told me they expected 3-5k increase in price but if it was more than that because those of us put money down before price announcement they would take care of us.

3
PhilosophySilver6852OP•

You got a steal my friend. Congrats buddy, I just need to find a decent price, I think buying a truck in Florida is not the way to go

2
Formal-Cut-4923•

Most of the posts with over priced have been from Florida. What are the dealers down there doing? Also thank you.

1
Formal-Cut-4923•

Yeah.

1
Formal-Cut-4923•

I have seen some similar posts here with “price adjustments “ added to them. It’s crazy.

2
BigMike_MI•

Yeah expect about 49-53k for TRD Off Road. Long bed, and engine upgrades even more. You’ll be able to easily price out a 75k Tacoma when the new engines are released.

5
Upset-Chemist-4063•

That’s a whole $10k+ more (20%+ increase) than what I paid for my 2021 trd off road, $1k of add-ons, when I purchased mine new at the time which was about $42k OTD

4
ortho004•

That’s basically $20k more than I got my 2019 TRDOR for in 2019. Makes my paid off truck even more appealing…

3
DeVoreLFC•

Are you sure it was no add ons? Sounds like the price for the premium package

3
PhilosophySilver6852OP•

Positive man, I need to try another dealership. A little excessive to me

1
DeVoreLFC•

Geez yeah that’s crazy

1
floridaafloridaa•

Yeah they may say a certain price but when it hits the lot that dealer fee will be 10-20 k more than the price your seeing and if you feel like you have that price locked in because you preorder your sadly mistaken

2
y2todd•

After seeing the current mark downs on the new Tundras, I think I will wait 2-3 years before I buy. Hopefully the new Tacomas will follow that trend.

2
Trepsik•

Wtf? How much dealer markup was on that?

2
Amador18623’ TRD OR 4x4 Lunar Rock•

Then you gotta add the bs taxes and fees. I can’t imagine how much the monthly payments will be

2
Bmwilli2•

My dealer actually priced me one at msrp, I was stunned. Same deal, base OR MT, 42.5

2
dmcoe•

That’s nuts, i got a brand new 23 TRDOR for 40k OTD.

2
SeabeeBuilderChief•

Get the 23 model

2
These_Letter_842•

You can get a tundra for that price lol.

2
Low_Buffalo6005•

A 2023 with the same spec would be about $42k. What a joke.

2
jbcsworks•

Geez

1
TKRUEG•

People are surprised a new model year of a popular truck is going to be more expensive? If you're looking for incentives and mark-downs, it ain't going to happen at launch.
