What does Prana means/Represents:

  • Prana is a Sanskrit word that can mean ''breath of life'', "Life Force," "Energy" or "vital energy." It represents an energy that is in both living beings and inanimate objects. It is said to flow through energy channels known as Nadis, in the energy body/spirit/soul/astral body/etheric body/emotional body/true self.

  • It is an expression of your vital energy in your body and is one of four other types of expressions of this vital energy, with the five of them together being called Vayus and this one Prana Vayu or just Prana. This type of expression is all about breathing and can be amplified or gathered from other sources thanks to special breathing techniques.

The sanskrit word Vayus means wind, space or air.

  • The Prana Vayu governs breathing in, assimilation and taking things in (including sensory impressions and their mental assimilation). Though its seat is in the heart, the Prana Vayu can be experienced in different parts of the body (head or navel typically).

  • Over the years, it was discovered to be able to consciously be activated for many usages. Some which are more passive like breathing in, assimilation and taking things in (including sensory impressions and their mental assimilation) and others which are more active like energy absorption and more.

  • This Vital energy can be felt in a lot of ways, to feel it consciously, one easiest way is when you experience chills/goosebumps from an positive external or internal stimuli like listening to a song you really like, thinking about a lover, watching a moving movie scene, striving, feeling thankful, praising God, praying, etc.
