[UK] [H] PayPal [W] Silent Mechanical Keyboard

Buying

As the title says, I'm looking for the quietest possible tactile mechanical keyboard. I have no experience building myself, so also looking for some guidance on what the best options are. I currently use a Ducky One 2 Mini with Speed Silver switches, and find it to be quite loud.

I'm not looking for anything highly customised, just a nice simple backlit board with good quality silent switches.

Second time attempting to post this hopefully it's right this time. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Budget is flexible

I don't have much to offer, but if you wanted to try to piece this together yourself, try searching for Boba U4 Silent Tactile switches. Not sure of the best vendor for these in the UK, but they're inexpensive and readily available in the states. Then just find a hot swap board in your desired size and you're good to go.

love these switches. pair these with a bunch of foam in the case, and potentially even switch-pcb/plate foam (if you want to make it just the extra bit more quiet) and u'll be set

Another suggestion would be to try the Haimu x Geon Silent Red switches in any hotswap (or solder) board of your liking. Most silent switch I have ever tested.

Not sure if you are against building a board entirely, but the Otemu silent cream yellows switches are the quietest silent tactile switches that I have come across.

Here is what they sound like. Don't worry about his crazy board, I have them in an Nk87 from NovelKeys and they sound exactly the same as the video.
