Small steps but not enough progress

I just turned 30 and I took some, what I should feel, are big steps this year in coming to terms with my sexuality. I told my therapist I was gay and she was accepting and supportive. I joined Bumble BFF in the hopes of finding some lgbt friends. I joined an all girls soccer team also in the hopes of making lgbt friends, and I went out for pride for the first time with others. I even went to a gay bar alone to see what it was like.

But I don't feel like it's good enough. No one has responded on Bumble. All my teammates on the team are straight. Even the people I went to pride with are more acquaintances I'm not overly close with, so going out regularly and getting to know them is difficult. And the solo trip to the gay bar didn't work out.

I feel like everytime I try to take a big step and make friends nothing comes of it. I don't want to date anyone yet as I don't think I'm ready for that at all, but finding lgbt friends is so difficult. This sounds dumb but I don't know if I should just skip the whole "making friends" and just go straight to dating with zero experience?
