Does the evenflo revolve360 extend fit in a smaller car? Yes! With visuals for a 5’7 passenger

Discussion

TLDR: visuals of a 5’7 passenger in a small sedan with an evenflo360 revolve extend behind them.

Apologies for how niche this post is but I really struggled to find info or visuals for non SUV mommas wondering about convertible car seats, sedan parents seem like a minority so I’m posting for future parents reference.

I thought the civic/mazda 3/bmw3/lexus IS/a4 parents could be helped potentially.

I really wanted a swivel seat as our car is pretty low to the ground and my husband is 6’2. I also liked that baby could potentially stay rear facing longer (heavier limit) in this particular seat, I was hesitant though to buy online as I’ve read it’s big…. So I present to you, all still interested, the results.

So we have a “smaller” but not subcompact sedan. Cars listed above are similar in size from my cursory google check.

Whats pictured here is a 2016 Lexus IS f sport, so a sporty bucket passenger seat for reference.

I’m 5’7; my hip bone is 3’2 from the floor. it installed just fine with the latch anchors tightened , (I’m aware the top tether is not attached in photo, I was just assessing size and appropriate recline angle before removing again).

Photos for reference show how forward I had to bring the passenger seat, I still had lots of clearance from knees to dashboard, passenger seat recline angle is still greater than 90 degrees, it’s not like a dining room chair.

Note: when baby is not in car, seat can be flipped to forward facing without reinstalling, where passenger seat can be moved back entirely for guest comfort.

I know everyone’s bodies are different but I hope this helps anyone potentially gain some insight for or against. I’m okay with this much space, maybe some need more.
