Brahma Kamal

Hi everyone, I have a Brahma Kamal plant in my yard. It's bloomed a few times this year and will bloom again in the next week.

I've read that it is auspicious to offer this flower to Lord Shiva. Is this true? How would I offer this flower at home? Is there a special ritual?

Thanks
