Living in flat vs standalone building

I have been living in a 2 floor independent house in Gurgaon with my owner living on the ground floor for around 2 years. I am moving to Noida and I find the option of a society flat to be more lucrative. I haven't made a final decision yet and I am working on a list of pros and cons for staying in a society. I would really appreciate your inputs. Pros: Safety Better facilities and some luxuries like swimming pool Power backup Walk around the society even at night

Cons: Less spacious Lack of sunlight (depends on the balcony)
