Cold war tips

So after some 170 hours of playing 4ya/blueflag/single player I finally joined enigmas cold war campaign for the first time, in my beloved f86 sabre. And I was really amazed at how easy this gameplay is to get into, since I flew some sucessful first sorties with a 3:0 K/D, and since im usually loosing to any ai above trained, this left me to wonder if there are any ai fighters on enigma cold war, and if not, is there anything else i should know about enigma cold war, strategy wise, or whether am i exploiting unknowingly exploiting some function? Thanks.
