my cat has been acting weird since we picked her up from the vet two days ago and she hasn’t slept or cuddled

long story short, my cat dixie (aged 9) was having severe dental problems. she was drooling a lot and picking at her fur with her mouth, so we took her to the vet to get her mouth checked out. keep in mind, we’ve been taking her to the vet once a month every month to get her nails trimmed, ever since we adopted her three years ago.  we have been giving her dental chews/treats mixed in with her kibbles every day as a way of keeping her mouth and teeth clean, which her very said we could do if we couldn’t actually brush her teeth. she’s super fussy and struggles with any unwanted/unwelcome touching (she loves kisses, pets, and belly rubs though). we took her to the vet last week for a thorough inspection  of her mouth, upon which the vet gave old us we would have to bring her back in a few days so she can get some teeth removed since there seemed to be a lot of infection and plaque build up. we dropped her off at 9 am, they did what they had to do, which included knocking her unconscious and removing with of her teeth. she had not slept since we picked her up two days and six hours ago. she’s been eating her soft cat food, peeing (and i think pooping) in her litter box, BUT she has not slept a wink!! at least, not while we’re awake. she used to take1-3 cat naps a day. also, she lets us pet her and she’s been kissing us by rubbing her face against us, but she won’t let us pick her up or cuddle her: something she was very fond of in the past. all she’s been doing in the past 18 hours is sitting and loafing on the floor (not on the couch or beds, like she used to) and turning her head frantically like she sees a ghost. i’m worried about her and i’m afraid she’ll n be turn back into her old playful, cuddly self again. please, any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. i’m scared that im never gonna get my old cat back.
