thoughts on "art slaves"?

i recently found out that (mostly young) digital artists from a group i happen to also belong in have been offering literal "art slave" services. as in pay $100-200 and get unlimited art for 1-2 months. the practice doesn't seem new and posts go back as far as early 2023.

it was pretty shocking. how common is this in other art communities? how would you approach this?
