Am I insane for my DMC opinion about DMC4

I played 1, 2 and 3, and absolutely loved them. Yes, I even enjoyed 2. Now I’m on 4 and for some reason I just can’t get into but I played 5 before and loved that one. Would it be a sin to the community to skip 4 and learn the lore through a video and play 5?
