Bisalp surgery triggered my period to start 10 days early and it is intense!
My surgery was on December 27th and the surgeon removed my tubes through the vagina instead of my abdomen. I was born with omphalocele and I have had a lot of pediatric reconstructive surgeries on my abdomen so I was referred to a specialist. I wasn't expecting my period to begin for another week and a half but it was like a switch was flipped. One minute I used the toilet before a shower and then the next thing I know I'm in the shower and I'm feeling very large clots passing through. I literally said "what the f**k" aloud in the shower because I've never had to deal with massive clots.
This is the heaviest period I've ever had in my life and I can't even use a tampon because I was told to not insert anything until two weeks after the procedure. Guys, I feel like I'm walking around with a full diaper or something! I was expecting my period to be late but nope, it's actually super early for the first time ever. This is so weird and I really don't like it because my surgery symptoms were finally gone and now they're reactivated. I'm back on pain management and heat pads.
