What pillows do I like?

I have pillows on my bed that are filled with some kind of feather or down (they poke me). I don’t know where they are from.

The pillows are super sink-y, when I lay down on my back it’s like my neck almost lays flat because it’s sunk into the pillow. I can find of fold them and mold them, they’re not fluffy or resistant, more dense.

When I’m shopping for pillows, what words describe what I’m looking for? “Soft” or “plush” and do I want goose or feather or a mix…

Any advice would be appreciated!
