Inquiry about Upgrading my Laptop Toshiba Satellite L55Dt-C5209S: SSD, M.2/NVMe Slot, and USB 3.2
Hello everyone!
I'm looking to upgrade my laptop L55Dt-C5209S, with a focus on the possibility of installing a 2-terabyte SSD. Currently, I'm considering the option of a SATA 2.5 SSD, but I have doubts about whether my laptop has a slot for an M.2 SATA SSD or if it can be adapted to use NVMe, which could provide even better performance.
To clarify, the image I'm sharing of the motherboard is an example and not an accurate representation of how my laptop is currently assembled. My laptop is fully assembled.
Does anyone know if the L55Dt-C5209S has a slot for an M.2 SATA SSD or if it can be adapted to use NVMe? Additionally, I'd like to know if there's an adapter available to connect an NVMe SSD in case my laptop lacks the corresponding slot.
Furthermore, I'm interested in upgrading my USB 3.0 ports to 3.2 for faster transfer speeds. Considering that this is a physical component, are there adapters or any solutions available to carry out this upgrade?
Lastly, are there any other ways to improve my laptop's performance after installing the SSD?
I appreciate any advice or information you can provide.
